Wildfire is the daughter of the charming and impressive stallion, Fabrice Van Overis. He can boast an exciting career, competing up to 1.50m with championship wins at Hickstead, Royal Windsor and the Royal Dublin Horse Show – as well as placing 5th in the prolific Foxhunter Final at the Horse of the Year show. His pedigree is a remarkable show of some of the most influential stallions of modern breeding. Directly sired by For Pleasure – a double Olympic Gold medallist, World Champion and Hanoverian Stallion of the Year. His dam, Delphine Van Overis, is sister to many 1.45m+ jumpers and has also produced a number of internationally proven horses. She is by the extraordinary Diamant De Semilly. With career highlights as World Champion, Champion of France, European Championships Silver Medallist, Samsung Super League Champion, and numerous Grand Prix and Nations Cups appearances, it is unsurprising that he is often referred to as ‘the Best Stallion Worldwide’. Wildfire’s dam, Witgrafin, is herself a 3* Graded broodmare. She comes from the prolific Holsteiner 569 line, which has produced many highly regarded horses – including Quintero. She is the maternal sister to international horses Alonso and Heaven, and maternal half-sister to the mother of Grand Prix stallion, Dalli Dalli. Witgrafin is mother to several nationally and internationally acclaimed horses in a variety of discliplines. She is directly sired by the famous Concorde, whose offspring have included many that have proven themselves at Grand Prix and World Cup level – at the height of his breeding career, Concorde was represented in the World Cup Final in Las Vegas with 4 offspring in the final, as well as being sire to 3 horses from the top 8 in the Grand Prix of Rotterdam. Concorde was the youngest stallion ever to be awarded preferent, due to his endless list of national and international children – as well as being named ‘Horse of the Year’ in 2004, and frequenting the WBSFH top sire rankings list.
