TO ENTER - please log in to your British Breeding account FIRST, and then once logged in to your account please click on 'SUBSCRIBE TO AN EVENT' on the left hand side to start your entry from there.
The 2026 Futurity entry fee will be £90 + vat. Entries will CLOSE a week before each event date. After this late entries may be available at an increased price.
*We have been made aware that depending on your web browser there may be issues with your entry being recorded properly, even if you received a confirmation email. Please check the 'horses entered' section of the event to make sure your entry is listed. If you can't see your entry there, there is a chance we cannot see it either. In that case, please contact us and we will sort this out for you manually - contact Sasha on britishbreeding@gmail.com. We are working on resolving this IT issue and in the meantime apologise for any inconvenience.*

How does it work?
1. Prepare Your Videos
You need to submit TWO videos only for your virtual futurity entry:
1. Veterinary Evaluation
2. Frame and Movement
Please DO NOT send multiple videos, we only require a maximum of TWO videos per entry.
The footage you need to provide varies depending on the age of your entry, to see a full list of what is required, with example videos and useful checklists you can print off and take with you as you do the videos, go to:

2. Complete Your Entry
To make your entry, go to our Event and entries will be open from 1st May
3. Send Us Your Videos by 31st August 2026.
There are 2 ways for you to send us your videos.
- Upload them to Youtube
- Upload them to Vimeo
- Send your video links to britishbreeding@gmail.com
4. Video Checking
Our Team then need to check your videos, so please make sure we have them all as soon as you have completed your entry, and absolutely no later than the 31st August. If there is anything missing, we will contact you.
To create a good video, remember a few tips:
- film with the sun behind you
- hold the phone in landscape when filming movement and conformation from the side
- make sure you send everything we need
5. Evaluation
Our teams will then work together to evaluate the entries. This process is scheduled to finish in late September.
6. Feedback
We then send you an email with your results and a detailed report from the evaluators.
A Futurity certificate and rosette will follow in the post. Category winners and high-scorers will be contacted by email towards the end of the year regarding our Awards Ceremony.
