How does it work?
1. Complete Your Entry
To make your entry, go to our Event page and log in to your account. The entry fee for 2026 is £90 + vat (£108). If you have any issues with logging in/entering, please email britishbreeding@gmail.com and we can help
2. Prepare Your Videos
You need to submit two videos only for your Virtual Futurity entry:
1. Veterinary Evaluation
2. Frame and Movement
The footage you need to provide varies depending on the age of your entry, to see a full list of what is required, with example videos and useful checklists you can print off and take with you as you do the videos, go to:

3. Send Us Your Videos
There are 2 ways for you to send us the LINKS to your videos. Please send links to TWO VIDEOS ONLY. (Please do not send MP4 files etc to download, please send us links)
- Upload them to Youtube - and send us the links
- Upload them to Vimeo - and send us the links
After uploading your videos please email the links to britishbreeding@gmail.com by 1st September.
4. Video Checking
Our Team then need to check your videos, so please make sure we have them all as soon as you have completed your entry.. If there is anything missing, we will contact you.
To create a good video, remember a few tips:
- film with the sun behind you
- hold the phone in landscape when filming movement and conformation from the side
- make sure you send everything we need
5. Evaluation
Our teams will then work together to evaluate the entries. This process is scheduled to finish later in October.
6. Feedback
We then send you an email with your results and a detailed report from the evaluators.
Rosettes and certificates will be sent out when all the entries have been evaluated. Top scorers will be invited to our British Breeding Awards Ceremony & Ball!

PLEASE NOTE THERE IS A TEMPORARY ISSUE WITH PEDIGREE DATA FEEDS FROM HORSETELEX. This means that as you are making your entry, pedigree data from Horsetelex will not pull through, but pedigree data from our own BB database and participating studbooks will display as normal. Simply complete your entry in the usual way, and we will assist you afterwards with any missing pedigree information.
We welcome entries from all British bred horses and ponies from the age of foal to 5 years old. Please note, 5yos will have to be presented under saddle. 4yos can be shown loose or presented under saddle (please indicate your preference in the comment section when you make your entry). All younger horses and ponies will be presented loose. Eventers and showjumpers from the age of 3 will be expected to jump.
If you require a stable, please contact the venue in the first instance.
Please note our biosecurity policy. To protect all participating horses and ponies, spotchecks of passports will be carried out to check vaccinations are up to date: https://british-breeding.com/equine-bridge/important-biosecurity-information
Please check if you have an account and if your horse is already entered on the system by searching. If you can't log in, please contact us to reset your password, please do not add a duplicate member account/horse record if you already have one
